Remember Children Cancer Patients:

 

Turner Fordham, Jonathan Franks, Holly ( age 23; hip surgery), Haley (age 14; surgery), Ross ( senior in High School; leukemia) Van Nut (age 2), Spencer (from Louisiana), Chase Keener

  • Continue to remember Mike Shoemaker who is now serving in Afghanistan; Ryan Smith is in Iraq and requests prayer. David McCranie is in Iraq now. Dennis Lindsey is in Iraq. Pray for protection.

  • Pray for those who have elderly parents with health problems. Bonni Collingwood,  Bonnie McKinney, Beverly and Rody Whitener, Joe and Linda Dunaway, Ronnie Beene, Ronnie and Linda Boyd, and Barbara Isaacson.

  • Remember Scott’s brother Cole who has episodes of vertigo.  Pray for a complete diagnosis and ability of the doctor to properly medicate.

  • Remember Mary Beth who has  seizures. Pray that the new doctors are able to help her. She is 5 years old now.

  • Pray for rain!

  • Pray for unspoken requests.

  • Dave went back to Vanderbilt to see the specialist for a checkup Friday. He got a good report and does not have to go back.

  • One of Dave’s cousins has pancreatic cancer.

  • Continue to remember Dorothy O’Hare.

  • Remember Frances Wilson and pray for her as she recovers from her surgery. She is improving  and Is on oxygen part of the day.

  • The Nordones hope that they have found an attorney to take their case.

  • Remember the family of Wallace Shields, husband of Linda Boyd’s sister; he passed away.

  • Remember Mildred; she is feeling better.

  • Rody’s aunt passed away last week. She was his mother’s younger sister. She was 86.

  • Stan Bridges has a brain tumor. He is a psychologist who works with Anne. The disease is progressing rapidly.

  • Heidi is doing exceptionally well. She has returned to the Target House. Continue to pray for Heidi, Jeff, Hope, and all the other family members.

  • Continue to pray for Phil and Patty McMillin.

  • Jose and Anne asked prayer for the sale of the house in Louisiana.

  • Remember Barbara Keathley and her health problems.

  • Adriane asked prayer for Maddie. A coach is coming to see her next week.

  • Joan Lutz has been diagnosed with cancer for a second time; she has been clear for 5 years. She is in her 70’s and attends Unity Baptist Church.

  • Katie Whitlow has relapsed. She is 26 years old, has an 18 month old daughter and is pregnant. She is not going back to Emory and will not have chemo because of what it would do to the unborn baby. She is a Christian. Pray for Katie’s healing and the safety of the unborn baby. Remember her husband and daughter. She is the granddaughter of Dr. Don Thomas.

  • Jose asked for prayer for a friend that has issues at work; he may loose his job after 20 years.

  • Betty will be making a new cleaning list in December. Helen has expressed a desire to clean, but she would like a companion to clean with her. Is anyone willing to make a team with her? Any other family willing to join our roster of cleaners, please let Betty know.

  • Both Brad and Bonni had doctor appointments last week. They both had good reports and for that they are happy.

  • Remember the family of Virginia Juan a 7 year old who was killed in an auto accident. Her mother was driving the car. God graciously spared the lives of the three brothers and their mother.
